I just don't have any male friends :L (10 POINTS) i'm so desperate its awkward aha?

i'm 16 so i'm obviously interested in guys, not only as boyfriend (although it would be nice) but mainly as friends, i'm quite pretty, not hot, i'm skinny, i am sociable and everything and have no problem with making friends, but i don't no any guys well enough to consider them as friends. I'm at an all girls school btw. i do plenty of social things, for example i volunteer at disability challengers, i do go up to people and introduce myself there and they are all really friendly but say i'm talking to a guy, how can i be friends with him, like i cant ask for their number straight away can i? but equally i cant wait once a week to become friends, WAY to slow, ok so then i add them on facebook, no biggie but i would be way too scared and awkward to start up a conversation cos i would worry that they would think im weird and awkward for talking to them if they didnt like me.. im just so shy and anxious about the fact that i wont get to know a guy until i'm in uni or something and as a teen i really want this please, any advice on how to make new friends, its been a while since i last made brand new friends at the start of my school, i've totally forgotten everything and the added pressure of them being a guy

Look get a facebook and start adding friends and guys and do a rate date and tbh and crap like that then hook it up....

I think that since you seem to have all the qualities that someone wants in a friend, you should really just try to walk up and talk to them. I hadn't had any guy friends really until about last year, and I got them by walking up to them and starting conversations with them!

Guys would be flattered if you asked them for their numbers . they wouldnt see you as being weird . and if they ssid they had gf then all you do is let them know you just want some guy friends nothing more .
And as for being shy thats attractive to guys
cos they get shy also so you then make them feel comfortable because the feeling shy thing is equal ........

Be more open. Yes, you can ask for their number straight away. If you like someone just tell them you like them. You can ask them to go out! Have fun and talk. Be open!
