How to absolutely make sure that only friends I've accepted can see my facebook profile & statuses?

I've picked up on some clues from acquaintances that aren't facebook friends, that they've been viewing my facebook goings-on.

How do I change my privacy settings? Facebook keeps changing things and throwing me for a loop.

P.S. I still have the "old" facebook version, as far as I know, last time I checked.

don't use facebook altogether. or switch to twitter and protect ur twits. that's easier.

You can't. Facebook keeps changing things, and have often used opt-out rather than opt-in for new features. The only way to be absolutely sure only those you choose can see your data is to NOT give it to Facebook.

Never, ever, ever post ANYTHING anywhere online that you would be upset of everyone in the world saw it. It's not possible to be absolutely safe.
