facebook and friend requests?

hi me and my friend have not received each others friend requests to each other we do know one another personally and have several mutual friends on facebook when i click add friend it says friend request sent but the problem is he never recieves it but he gets other peoples friend requests? he is not lying about not getting it and neither am i when i canceled the request and he tried adding me and i did not get it either? i have tried contacting facebook about the issue and they never responded i really want this sorting out because it is beginning to really annoy me we both have the same internet provider could this be the problem? i got our friend to log in as me on his pc and add him and he still did not receive it although our other friend is on a different internet provider i really want this issue sorting out please can anyone who knows about facebook help? and is there a contact number?

This is very strange... Maybe you've blocked your friend somehow and didn't realise it. All I know is that your internet provider has nothing to do with it

Get introduced to either of yourself through your mutual friends.
As you both have some mutual friends seek help from them.
If they suggest either of anyone through friends suggest you both can be friends easily and quickly without any wait.
