Getting more followers on Twitter (that you actually want)?

I'm slowly getting into this Twitter thing... but the problem is, I keep getting random weirdos following me who I don't really want. I've been blocking them just to get them off my list.. but I don't know how well that really works.

How can I get followers who I actually can relate to/like/are mostly normal and not creepy? You know, people who just like to read my witty quips.

Just search for the topics that interest you and read what other people have to say. When you come across someoje who's interesting just follow them. This might entice them to follow you. Twitter is very organic, everyone can see what you post (unless you protect your tweets), so if you tweet interseting stuff, you will eventually get followers. Don't block people just because you feel they are creeps. They might not be. Give them a chance and if they become obnoxious - block them.

you could do a themed twitter. like if you like Gwen Stefani make her a fan twitter page idk haha
