how do i get facebook timeline?

i know you have to go to the "introducing timeline" page and click on "get timeline" but facebook is not showing me where it is. at the bottom it says "cover" "stories" and "apps" and i know that "get timeline" should be right next to apps but its not.

go on a friends profile who you think or who you know that has timeline and then click on the button that says get timeline. but once you get timeline you cant get rid of it so be careful!

find one of your friends in facebook that has timeline. For example john has now timeline click learn more and then you can hit the button get timeline below.
