How many facebook friends do you have?

I was wondering about what the average amount of facebook friends random people have. Dont lie. Be honest.
I have 224 friends, and i know every single one of them, and they are either old friends or people i talk to everyday. I currently have 1889 friend requests. But i dont know all of their last names, and i dont know them well enough so i dont add them.

Also. Why do people want likes so much? For those likewhores. What do you get out of it? Is there some secret competition i don't know about?

I have 2,349 friends most of them ate family and I've switched schools so much that I have a lot of friends from many different schools

i never even look to see how many friends i have, because it doesnt matter to me

the people who have tons of friends are usually very egotistical and think it makes them look popular, when in fact most people see them as too narcissistic

quality matters, not quantity

i have a friend who has only 9 friends (and yes, i know her in real life), and she is perfectly happy with that... those are the people you want as friends, because you know your friendship actually matters then, and you arent just a number to them

I have 122 and I only really care to know about 10 or so basically because people move on in life and rarely ever stay the same (in my experience).

That's alot of friend requests you're not answering. If you have ignored nearly 1900 people asking to be your friend, and you obviously don't want to add them, why not just decline?

I used to prefer likes on my wallposts because it meant not really having to respond to anything (I'm more a group contributor). However, in recent years I've begun learning basic video editing and have gotten into posting a video each Sunday. Likes are nice on those because it says that someone out there feels it's good enough to post on their wall (as liking something does).

I think there are lots of reasons to prefer likes over other things.

You talk to every one of those 224 people? You obviously don't mean you speak to them all every single day, more that you communicate with them instead? Don't you waste alot of time responding to so many people?
