Is there a way to see the profile of someone not on your friends list on Facebook?

So, a mutual friend told me that this guy is posting inappropriate statuses about my brother, but he won't friend me back so I can't see his profile and I don't think I can report him because I don't know exactly what he's posting. Other than by looking through our mutual friend's account, is there any way to see the Facebook profile of someone not on my friends list?

only if he sets his profile to public, otherwise only through your friens account

No, it is not possible to unless the person who's profile you want to view decides to set it to "Public Profile" otherwise you cannot view peoples profiles that you are not friends with!!!!! Hope this answers your question!!!!
