All my Facebook friends (143) have disappeared from my Facebook account. Any how to fix this?

I am constantly getting Facebook error messages saying that my facebook is going through maintenance and when I actually log in, it shows me as having no friends. A friends suggested that I delete all my cookies, which I did and it worked. The same thing happened and deleting cookies did nothing. Any advice?

if you have no friends anyway, what would the harm be in starting a new account, with a different account password and username? You might as well create a new account, and avoid the risk of having viruses reach you and your desktop.

Could be Facebook glitch or the problem you caused. If that is not your problem, then don't worry (Hakuna Matata!)! Facebook will fix it!

the exact same thing has happened to mee! it is soo annoying!
and also on the home page instead of the friends recent posts it has like different groups' recent posts(hope that makes sense lol).i tried the cookies thing to but it still doesnt work. and what is really annoying is that my brothers fb works and we r using the same computer. ii asked my friend to go on my page on their account and they said that its normal...
i dunno just try leaving it for a whilee...hopefully it works again.

It's a glitch. Wait a bit, I guess. Or you can contact Facebook management. There's no guarantee that they're much help, but it's a bit better than asking here. Unless you've already sent them a complaint and they haven't replied.

In response to David C's answer though, can you not read? It says on the fucking title FRIENDS(143). If he doesn't have any friends there's no need to ask a question on Y!A

The same happened to me. I only get newsfeeds from my groups and all my friends are gone...over 215. I think facebook is having a glitch.

yea the same thing just happened to me i had over 600 friends and the only thing that shows up on my page are the groups im in
