how can I place an ad on facebook?

As a newbie to online networking, I like to know how to place an ad on facebook, twitter and other social medias, like an email submit or gift offers without giving information where its coming from.

Go to:
http://www.facebook.com/ads

Now click Create an Ad in the upper right hand corner of the screen.

Enter your information and hit continue

Now follow the prompts to successfully place an ad on Facebook!
