Why do girls have more friends than boys on facebook?
Thats just something I noticed. Like the average boy has about 200-250 friends on facebook while the average girl has about 300-350 friends on that site. The popular dudes have about 300+ friends on facebook while popular girls have 500+ friends. These are not actual statistics its just something I estimated.

Because so many guys see a profile to a girl who looks hot, and they add them. Then the girls that have so many "friends" are attention whores, who then add for no other reason than the attention.
Then, there could be gay/bi girls who then add them too, and the same thing happens. Whereas guys just aren't as likely just to add another guy (although so many will add any girl who adds them, even if they're clearly not real/a scammer, as too many think with the wrong head). And then to add to that, there's that antiquated notion of guys having to be the ones to make all the first moves. So girls' profiles in general get far more views than those of guys. |

because the people they have are not all friends? maybe more like acquantainces? and perhaps guys are more reserved than girls at younger agee? idk

Girls go on facebook more and guys usually don't have a lot of pictures.
Girls might have gotten theirs first, which gives them more friends and a lot of girls talk more and have more "ok" friends. I'm a girl and I have 435 friends. I made my facebook in March 2009. |

boys don't spend too much time on facebook adding friends like girls do..we just accept those who sent friend request,,,at least that's what i do...probably collecting a lot of names for friends is not a boy thing....

well who knows because girls like to seem as if they are popular (when really they know no one) and probably add random people while guys are just adding people they now and whatever and i know plenty of guys that are 700+
|
