how do u make your profile invisable on fb?

the other day a girl who is a friend of a friend on my facebook became completely invisible and i thought she had deleted her self completely of my page. then the next few days she reappeared as my friend again without me having to add her again, she had been on my friends list the whole time and she" fb is never private goes to show u". so now i think she still on my page lurking as invisable. but i havent got a chance to ask cause shes always invisable where i completely dont see any profile info at all (ex.name,profile pic) does anyone have any idea on how this is done???

1 Open your browser and navigate to the Facebook login page. Type your Facebook account email and password in the spaces provided and click the "Login" button to login to your Facebook account.

2 Click the "Friends" link on the left side of your Facebook home page, followed by the "Edit Friends" button. Click the "Create a List" button to create a list of the friends you want to appear offline to.

3 Enter a name for the list in the space provided and click on each friend that you want to appear offline to. Click the "Create List" button to create a list that contains all of the friends you selected.

4 Click the "Chat" button in the bottom right corner of the Facebook window to open Facebook Chat. The title of the list you created in Step 3 will be at the top of the Facebook Chat friends list. Click the green slider icon to the right of the friends list title to make yourself appear offline to the users in the friends list.

i guess she deactivates and reactivate her facebook account frequently.
