How to make timeline run faster on facebook?

I got the timeline thing on facebook and I wouldn't hate it if it wasn't so slow. And there's not way to get back to the regular facebook so is there anyway I can get it to run faster? When I'm on it I can barely scroll down it's so slow. And when I upload pictures it takes ages. I just cleaned out my computer and checked for viruses and then I checked and it didnt do anything.
