Advice for boy situation?

I would like some advice on this situation.
A boy from my school told me a boy from a different school liked me , I was puzzled as he had never spoke to me or met me before later that day i received a friend request of this boy who liked me . He told me this boy is really nice and asked me if i liked him , after looking on his facebook profile i have to say i wasnt that attracted to what i saw ,but he was decent looking . I was confused as to whether i should speak to him or not .
The next day this boy messaged me on facebook , i have yet to reply . I dont have a clue as what to do , should i give it a chance as it is shallow to not give this guy a chance because i am not overly attracted to him because who really believes in love at first sight ? Or should i try to talk to him but would i then be playing with his emotions to then turn around if i dont like him and hurt his feelings , i am the sort of person who dosent want to hurt peoples feelings and always think i should give a chance to all

you do not have to go out with him right away take your time and facebook chat a little bit and if you hit it off hang out with him a couple times to see if you guys hit it off. there is no need for you guys to be talking about feeling and all that if you guys do not know each other at all take your time get to know him maybe he is a cool dude and it will work out for you

Girl, you're making this more complicated than it actually is. Here's your options.

-If you're interested, reply to him, and find out more about him
-If you're not interested, leave him alone, don't piss around with his feelings.
-If you want to fool around, then ask him what sort of relationship he wants.

Make your mind up because believe it or not, he's waiting for a reply!

Allow him to be your friend . If he is actually hitting you big time then he might like to talk to you 24X7 . If you dont get irritated by that then you should continue . However , since i have a somewhat similar nature to that of yours but i dont believe love i'd make it clear to him and wont let him have any wrong interpretations of what i want. on the whole i think you should exchange a conversation with this guy and see where things are going . if you arent sure of how it is, maybe u could at least tell him that u are not ready for it and maybe the two of u can take it slow
