Your PC has Malware
Scan with Malwarebytes & Superantispyware, download the free versions
http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free/

Recently, the German Government warned people to stop using Internet Explorer because of an extremely serious vulnerability
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/mi...lorer.html

Despite Microsoft fixing that vulnerability, there are still 45 more.

Use an alternate browser such as Firefox or Chrome

it's very likely you've got a browser hijack or adware infection meaning you've been got at, you need to run an spyware/malware/adware scan as well as a virus scan first scan you computer for viruses after that scan for spyware/malware/adware two good and free programs for that are Malwarebytes anti malware http://www.malwarebytes.org/
and Superantispyware http://www.superantispyware.com/
I suggest you run both of these if one misses something the other will find it

Does it look like this?

Then you're not likely to get useful help here.

Other than restore from backup or just do a clean reinstall.

Google redirect virus is hard to remove as a result of its potential to hide deep inside the operating system and also its potential to remove traces and footprints on how it got inside the computer. As of these days, not a single security software program in the market can guarantee 100% protection from this infection. This explains, why your personal computer got infected even with a security software program installed.

Some symptoms that you are having this virus on your PC:

• Browsers freeze
• Pages not loading at all
• Google searches got redirected to strange results
• Some programs won’t respond
• Internet connection brakes all the time
• Terrible adds popping from nowhere

I can not explain how effectively to handpick and remove google redirect virus as the methods that I discovered on the net are primarily used by experienced technicians who most likely work for some of the greatest security software program brands.
From what I've heard and red, most of the people are pleased with a single tool, which is specially made to destroy google redirect virus. I've provided you with a link in my source box.

In case you discover this answer valuable, please share it with your social network to assist somebody who may be facing precisely the same problem.
