How can I hide my facebook wall from specific friends?

I have some friends on facebook who I'd like to hide my wall from, some teachers in particular. I'd rather just delete them but if I can just hide my wall that'll be less rude.

I've tried the thing on privacy setting > profile > wall posts> except these friends, but that only stops them posting, they can still see my wall.

Is there ANY why to keep my wall completely private from certain people?

Remove them from you friends list and make sure your privacy settings only allow friends to your page. You have the right to your privacy, so don't worry about being rude.

The only other thing I can think of is to try to keep them from seeing your Status Updates and Links, it's on the same privacy page. Block them from seeing that and see if it helps, also, view your wall by going to the top of the page on privacy settings where you can type in someone's name and see what they see when viewing your profile. I don't think there's a way to block the enitre wall, though I think this is a privacy option Facebook needs.

Make a group of customized friend then go to wall settings and allow to only those friends group whom you wanna show your wall.
