Why do so many Facebook pages do this?

Why do so many Facebook pages do this?
Why do so many Facebook groups constantly show pictures that show men to be assholes in relationships, and that "real men" put women on a pedestal?

It's sickening and sexist. All they do is say how much a man has to do for women, which tends t go along the lines of respecting her more thank yourself, do everything for her, and so on.
How men always cheat, and how women are always innocent.

The annoying part is the amount of females of Facebook like it and comment wit things like "So true".

Two questions:

1. Why do females on Facebook do this?

2. Do you honestly expect men to respect you while you are saying "It's true" that only 'real men' respect women more than themselves, that men are always the bad guys, and that only what he does for her matters?
Kayleigh, there aren't. There are group such as "guys are stupid, throw rocks at them", but nothing like that, or the ones I talked about here on Facebook, as I have tried to find such pages.

There are many pages that show men as bad guys, and there are very little, if any, pages that show hatred against women.

The difference is, that is dark humor. Humor tends to be funny when there is something negative involved, all comedians do it. The difference is that the baby things are jokes, where as these male relationship things are not being said for jokes, but for facts.

I agree. You should just ignore them, they are silly and are pandering to the lonely pathetic single women on facebook who have nothing better to do than blame all of their problems on men.

They said what?..they said one thing wrong and you can tell them.. that a real man respects himself more than he respects anyone else, because if he didn't he wouldn't be able too.. else..and if they was real women that would respect them self first before they would respect anyone else, or they wouldn't be able too.

I'm sure there are just the same sort of things about women. No point in moaning about it or letting it annoy you.

If FB can have groups about dead babies, i'm sure this isn't much of a stretch

OK, Well, that seems pretty pointless to me. But that's literally my whole view on the matter. Pointless. Who actually joins a group like that? No one you'd want to know anyway, i'm sure

As for that dead baby page, i really don't see how it's a "joke" and "not about real babies" as they claim, when they use pictures of real, murdered children. That disturbs me far more than groups of crazy women sharing their misery

I guess it's born out of frustration and I'm sure there are some pages that do the same for women. There are enough sites on the Internet that do the same for women mind you.

Condemning any gender in its entirety (male or female) is pointless and immature as people are individuals and should be treated as such. It's easier to blame a whole group than to confront personal issues with particular people that have hurt you or your own failings, it takes maturity. So lets hope all those that do this grow up one day.

Really? Have you seen some of the anti-female comments and questions posted on here? And all the 'male' responses saying 'How true - all women are evil and stupid etc'. If I am not mistaken you have been a party to some of those comments yourself. And you want to get all wound up about FB?

Pot. Kettle.
