Can you start your Facebook timeline from a specific date?

i'm guessing august 14th is the official doomsday for everyone who liked the old facebook style, so if there's no way to stop the impending doom (if there is that'd be an even better answer), can I at least choose a specific date or at least month/year to have my timeline start at?

You can get it yourself. If you don't do it yourself, sooner or later... it will come to you.

nope - you would have to go thru all your past posts and delete or hide them one by one
