What do I say to my ex?

What do I say to my ex?
Me and my boyfriend broke up two years ago but I still have feelings for him. I mean we went on and off in our relationship for almost five years. We had a sort of long distance relationship though. I must admit we both cheated in our relationship and then we both fought a lot. After a few months we became friends again and we both are friends on facebook again. Sometimes I find it hard to have him as a friend because I still have feelings for him. I've read books, dated other people, and everything you could say about moving on. Unfortunately, the people I meet either have girlfriends are married or you know, just no Luck!!The problem is, I still have hopes that one day we could get together. My ex always hated the fact when I would ask him if we could have an honest conversation about our past relationship about what happened and for me to get my unanswered questions answered! We are friends now and we hardly talk or chat but I was thinking about asking him if one more time we could have another honest conversation through chat or something even if he used to hate these talks. I think it may be one way I could move on if he answers my questions! Any suggestions what to do before I scare him away? Smile)

I think that you likely just need to give it time. Really you shouldn't talk for about six months if you want to see if you may be able to be friends who can trust each other. I would suggest asking him if you can call him in about six months and then see if the relationship is worth maintaining at that time. Things are too emotional without this break.
