Download compatable 3D devices?
l have a refurbished hp compaq dp 330 to which l increased my ram.l downloaded a game called Dark Blood off of a Facebook ad so l can recieve more gold for anouther game l play on Facebook.When l load the game a error message comes up saying cannot find compatable 3D devices.ls there a safe way l can download the 3D devices for free or do l have to purchase them seperate?Thank you

hi deric, 'fraid it's not anything that you can download. the error is telling you that your current graphics capability is not up to the job. it is possible to upgrade the card if you have the desktop or the microtower version of the 330, but not the 'slim tower'. that is because you will need to use an AGP graphics card to make the game work. you may be using the 'intel extreme 2' onboard graphics which will not run the game. here are the different versions of your system:

you also need windows xp service pack 3; no problem?
your power supply (240w) should be okay...unless you have the slim tower...no AGP slot and 185w power supply. you should really take advice locally about making these changes; it may not be worthwhile unless you are very poor (join the club). these graphics cards are very old now and it may prove risky to buy a second hand one. good luck mate!

No, it sounds as if you need a "device" which would be a physical thing, instead of a driver. Depending on your budget you might want to look for another PC if you're a gaming addict Wink A small desktop can have expansion slots, so you can plug in other devices if you need them.
