Are the friends that are displayed on your Facebook profile there for a reason?
I just got that new Facebook profile and I noticed that the friends diplayed on the left hand side of my profile were actually good friends of mine. Is that because they visit my profile a lot, or I visit theirs? Is there any particular reason that those people consistently show up on my friends list?

Nope - totally random. People who I never speak to get shown up on it too, sometimes. It's a coincidence I'm afraid but it'd be SO cool if it were on purpose

They show up randomly, you can set who shows up in your friend list if you want.
