Is it true that once you get facebook timeline, you can't delete old posts?

I heard from someone that once you get timeline you have seven days to delete your stuff but after that, you cant anymore.

You can still delete old stuff. If you look at the top right corner of the post, you can see a little pencil that will allow you delete it.

the timeline is just like the wall nd u can delete whatever u want anytime u like.. Iv a timeline nd i don't find any probs with it.. have a nice one

it's just 7 days for you to delete things you want to before your friends see the timeline (after you publish it)

it auto-publishes after 7 days, but you can still delete things afterwards
