How do I hide my facebook friends from being viewed by non friends?

I checked all the options available in facebook for friends only to see my friends, yet a test run with a neutral, non friend account displayed my friend list. Yet some people's profiles actually do not show their friends if you are not their friend.

It is possible...


Go to "Privacy".
Then go to the link that says "search"
once there, look for the header that says "how people can contact you"
Lastly, unclick the checkmark that says "view your friend list"

Save and you're done!
