I understand you bid for a price or something, whats the point of that, to get a better rank but wont the ads be shown either way....i dont get it. People will still click them if they want to right? So what is a bidding and why would you pay more for it when they say "Estimated bid $1.65-$2.05".....Why would you want to pay more?

CPC bid means the highest amount you are willing to pay to show your ads. You would want to pay more if you want to get more people exposed to your ads. Then if your CTR is high, you can then lower your CPC and you'll also get lower CPC bids.
