Is my friend giving me special treatment?

My friend who is a girl and I'm also a girl has started to cling onto me, be very touchy-feely after knowing I was lesbian. She, who NEVER EVER goes on facebook, after I added her to my friends list said she would use it more often from now on, I don't know if she said that to be nice or she wants to spend more time with me talking outside of school too. She once in a while posts comments under my status I write on my wall, this is normal but to her it isn't since she NEVER uses facebook yet posted on my status. She doesn't post any status on her wall at all because when I view her personal profile nothing is on her wall, only recent activities from 2011. She also hasn't done anything to other of her friends since she never even goes on! Is this merely being friendly or is it something else? Why is she posting on my status??
