Fake Profile, is it him or not?

Ok, so just recently I found out that my partner has a secret relationship with some othe guy and I even created a fake facebook account to see that he had a relationship status with someone else. I always wondered why he never added me on facebook and now I know =/ Anyway, so I confonted him on the phone like 9 days ago and he told me he had no explanation & acted upset. He hung up the phone and I haven't heard from him or gotten a text from him since.

Now Fastforward to Tuesday - I received a friend request from some hispanic lady (just to let you all know the guy I was seeing was hispanic) Anyway I added this lady and come to find out I have ZERO mutual friends in common with her & she created her profile in October of this year. I saw that she only had 2 friends (one of em being me) and one of them being a hispanic guy from Atlanta which is near where I live. I checked her details and she has EVERYTHING unfilled except her "birthday" and gender. She only has like 4 or 5 statuses, all in spanish, (my partner knew fluent spanish) and like 4 photos of herself. Not to mention no one is tagged in her photos and no one hardly likes her statuses besides one or two people who live in different places! Anyway, I noticed recently that she liked a status of mine that reminded me of something my partner would have liked and it seemed fishy. So today, I went on facebook on my phone and sent her a message saying "Heya, I noticed we have zero friends in common. Do you know me from somewhere?" And she responded like she didn't know english (keep in mind "she" liked one of my statuses which was a practically a paragraph of ENGLISH. Why would she like a status of a language she "supposedly" can't understand. So anyway little did "she" know that I know a bit of spanish and asked her in spanish "do I know you" -> "La conozco" Anyway "she" never replied back and just liked one of my photos as if I'd forget about it. I don't understand why someone who just made a profile would immediately add me a "COMPLETE STRANGER" to her friends list right off the bat. So now I'm left confused as to if this person is fake and if it really is my ex partner who is spying on my profile since I'm not his friend on facebook. I don't even know why??? ANYWAYS please let me know what the heck you think is going on & if I'm just being paranoid or not? It just seems all too coincidental to me to be in the month of October which is the same month that we just recently stopped talking.
*Also* I clicked on her other friend and she had liked some of his statuses and commented in spanish on some of them. That seems out of character for my ex, so it threw me off, and I don't see why it would be necessary if it was indeed a fake account? He does know fluent spanish, however, tho he rarely spoke it when I was with him or he was with his friends - mostly only with his family.
