Why did my ex-bestfriend request to be friends with me on facebook?
I'm a junior girl in high school and one of my previous friends (i dumped her along with two other friends of mine because they were just crappy friends) anyway, I deleted her off my facebook friends and have not spoken to her since May 16th. Now it is June 23rd. Why would she try to request a friend request on facebook again?

FULL points for best answer.

BTW-shes going off to college next year.

She is trying to get as many friends as she can on Facebook so that she can look popular to other college students.

When I moved out of state, I dropped a lot of crappy "friends". One girl, in particular was difficult to part ways with, but I didn't want to surround myself with people who only talked badly about me. Recently she sent me a request which I considered accepting... But then I remembered that she was never a good friend SO WHY WOULD SHE SEND IT?? Its hysterical to think this person would have any positive intentions. During my trips back home, I would always hear that she was talking about me... FOR NO REASON! So long story short, all I can think is that this person is trying to keep "tabs" on you. She wants to keep in the loop about whats going on just as my exfriend.
OR, she could want to reconcile.

Maybe she trying to civil with you, or work something out. I mean it just facebook, it's no harm, but if you don't want to add her you don't have too. Just go with your feelings.
