Commenting on an old Facebook post which was posted by a person who is no longer your friend...?

If I were to go back and find a post someone who is no longer my friend wrote like a year or two ago and commented on it, would they receive a notification and be able to see the comment that I wrote? Even if my profile is private and there profile is private? Thanks!!!

Yes, you can comment on old posts of person who is not in your friend list now, even he or she will recieve notification. Yes if the accounts are gone private then it will be impossible as when the account is private then the privacy level is high therefore one who is not a friend is prevented to comment on that post.

Yep they would able to see it. but if you blocked them or they blocked you the post wouldnt even be there, so yeah. But yes, they would get a notification
