Why i cannot put a cover picture on my facebook timeline?

I have notice this issue is happening to alot of people.why this is weird i have tried everything i really want to put a cover pict.every time i try to save it nothing saves

It seems timeline is not really working well around with most of people. Though in your case I think the most probable reason why you are unable to update yoru timeline cover photo is due to the browser cache getting corrupted or something like that. Do the following to fix it :-
1) Go to the browser tools and setting option or preference it depends on what browser you are using. and you will see a option "clear cache", do so and you might have to login to your facebook again. Now select a cover photo. I hope it works.

2) If the above solution doesn't work the try some other browser then what you are using now. like Internet explorer or Firefox or Google Chrome (recommended).
