facebook privacy question pls help?
i have just deleted someone on facebook (my bf) this is just a test to check the privacy of my profile. anyway he logged into his account, and although he couldnt see my pictures, he was still fully able to view my wall- everything. i have gone through all my settings to make sure that they are friends only but he can still see my wall?? this worries me now as i dont want other people to be able to do this, i just trusted that once they were deleted they couldnt see anything. can someone please take me through the exact steps to make sure that my profile is only visable to my friends- my wall, pictures.. everything. i dont want the public, friends of friends, any joe bloggs to view anything... ONLY FRIENDS!!! oh & can i add, everytime i do a status i dont want to have to change the audience everytime, surely there is a setting that you can add a status and not need to worry about it being veiwed by ex friends?? thanks Sad
** i strongly suggest that everyone checks, dont just trust the privacy option that allows you to check how your profile appears to the public. if you have a good friend delete you just to check, they will be able to click on the wall option under your name and view everything. if i wish to hide my status updates from the public, it seems like now i must go through every single one from the past x amount of years and do each one individually by using the little box at the side for each and every update **

Obviously re-check your settings to be sure. Then go to your albums & under each album is a drop menu to select priv settings there. Change those. & the same when you post to your wall. to the left of the post button is a priv setting button.

Also be sure your settings are set to friends only not friends of friends. Which maybe why he could still view everything (assuming you have mutual friends. And since FB is ever changing & screwing with your page check your settings often.
