Do most colleges background check every single applicant?
I'm asking this because for club photo day last year I wasn't included in the group photo because I was sick that day. My name didn't get inputed into the yearbook either :I
I participated in every single meet of that club as an officer (key club) but there's virtually no evidence of my existence in that club (other than some informal tagged Facebook pictures) I'm just kind of worried that if I put, "key club officer of ____" on my college application that the college will search into my yearbook and think that i'm bluffing and completely blacklist me. That would be really bad. The colleges that i'm applying to used a holistic approach when accepting applicants, so extra curricular activities are actually really important. *use Ads |

Your GPA and SAT or ACT score is what get you into college.
They don't really care about any extra-curricular crapola, all it shows is that you don't waste all your spare time cruising the mall or playing video games. Ads |

They might do a backround check but it's not going to include getting a copy of your yearbook, so don't worry about it.

Unless you're trying to get into some sort of Nazi college, they're not going to background check and snoop every candidate. Most colleges get thousands of applicants and that would be a complete waste of resources.
