You can't they think you were telling the truth when you signed up. And never thought this would happen.

Sorry you cannot change your username i.e. your profile ID. But, you can change your Name if you want!
You can also hide your email address and other stuff that would confuse the opp person!

you won't able to remove user name but you can change it once. To change your username: 1. Click the account menu at the top right of any Facebook page and choose Account Settings 2. Click the Edit link next to Username 3. Type your new username in the open field and click Save Changes

once you change your name a few times, you can no longer change it - facebook does this on purpose because the rules state you have to use your real name
