Should I Text Him First?
I really like this guy in grade 11, and Im in grade 9. We normally talk on facebook but then he got my number from a friend and we've been texting for the past few days. The last 2 times he texted me first and Ive texted him first once but I texted him today a few hours ago and he didnt respond. I saw that he was on facebook but I didnt want to say anything just incase. When we were talking last night he totally opened up to his first thoughts about me and how now that he actually knows me he thinks Im awesome and stuff, I felt like I was walking in air! But I dont know whether I should keep texting him or if I should just wait until he texts me back, I really hope he does soon! Do I sound desperate? And is it ok for me to text him first? Thanks!

you should text him. The only way for you guys to get to know each other more is to text, hang out etc. I know people don't like texting each other first but you gotta do what you gotta do. You don't sound desperate. He might just be busy if he didn't answer. Good luck(:

First off, if you don't text him first at least once he'll probably assume that you're not interested. Secondly, every girl who likes a guy is slightly desperate at one time or another.
Thirdly, you should probably wait for him to text you back. It's normal to be excited and anxious but you don't want to spell out to him that you're desperate. if that makes sense.

One more thing, his phone could be dead, he could be busy, or he might not hear it going off. If he doesn't reply, don't panic. There are outside forces at work and what happens happens. If he wants to talk to you, and he's thinking about you, he'll text back.
