twitter, can someone help me?

i just recently created a twitter account, just for no reason. but i need some info please help.

so do you have to type the @ witheveryone twitter names or does it happen automaticly?
same with hashtags if some one starts a # do you have to type it in if you want to respond?

what if you want to start a hashtag?
and when you tweet does everyone see it or just the followers and people who check out your twitter page?

1. yes you have to @ every person , unless you go to there page a click tweet them then it'll do it on its own .
2. yes you have to # to join a discussion or put your input in .
3. the only ppl who see you are the ones following you /search your name but if you # something & ppl search whatever you put a hash tag next to they'll see you also .

Just like facebook, you need to put to "@" before tagging anyone. and it doesn't happen automatically.

and when you need to respond to a certain trend, or tweet about it you must put #(then type the name of the trend) and the trend will appear as a link in your tweet *make sure there are no spaces between the words of the trend*, when you open the link your tweet will appear there and everyone who opens the same link will see your tweet.

and if you choose to protect your tweets then only your followers will view them, and not anyone could follow you, because if you have a protected account and someone wants to follow you, they will send a request and only you can approve if you want this person to follow you or not.

but if you have an open account, then your followers will see your tweets and also other people who open your page!

Type @ and than the Twitter Username do that for each person that you want to add to the tweet # Is not a Tag For People Its a Tag For Topic So if you were to talk about a Topic for example Spring weather it would be #Spring weather

when you tweet everyone sees your tweets unless there protected which you can set from your settings
