How to upload facebook photos to the top of your profile?

Hi, I've had a facebook for a while but, I've never uploaded pics...other than my display Image. I simply wanted to know how people go about uploading pictures to display in those blank boxes a-top their facebook profile. NOT in separate albums.... JUST the boxes atop the main profile.

Tag yourself in a photo and it will appear on top

Those photos in the boxes are the photos that you have tagged yourself in or others have tagged you in. Find a friend's photo with you in it, and tag yourself. It should show up in those boxes.

The boxes are really just for people who are looking to be your friend so they can see if its really you. Also its a way to quickly look at your friends photos without going through the bookmark on their profile.
