Why are guys so confusing?

I know there are a million questions out there like this one but please hear me out and I'll try to keep it short.

I've liked this guy for over a year (we're both 16) and we have a lot of common interests and really click when we talk to each other. Last year we had several classes together and talked often but this year we don't have any so I don't see him or talk to him as much although we do talk when we see each other and smile and say hi if we pass in the hallway, that kind of thing.

So last night I logged onto facebook to see that he'd liked and commented on my profile picture and I got really excited but then I saw that the comment said "SO HOT HOLY SH*T" which is something he would never write and by checking his wall it was obvious that his friends had hacked his facebook. Then 4 of his friends all liked the comment..

I'm not really sure what to make of this, as I'm the only person whose picture they commented on (other than a classic "im gay" wall post). It seems like they're making fun of me, but why? I haven't told him I like him so that's not why, any ideas?

A couple times when I've run into him and his friends when I was with my friends too they'd be all like "hey matt, look who it is, there's emma" (not our actual names) and he'd act embarrassed and wouldn't look at me

You have your opening right there -- "Did your facebook page get hacked? This doesn't look at all like you wrote it." Then he can say "no I didn't" or maybe even "no but I would have" or "yes I did!" At least it opens the door for the conversation to get the answer you're looking for.
