A social networking site is how several people make new friends and talk to current friends that also have an account on the social networking site. To be able to use a social networking they require you to create an account, this has to include personal details such as your name, age and address. Also a social networking site asks you to have a profile picture of you, most people use one of themselves but other sensible people just use a picture of a cartoon or an object/animal they like. From this you can see there are lots of risks but many people don’t think of these and only recognise the benefits. There are lots of social networking such as Facebook and twitter. There are a few different types of social networking sites like discussion sites, general social networking, games with type chat bars next to them and games with voice chat. Facebook is an example of a general social networking site, it was first created by Mark Zuckerberg, the idea first came to him when his girlfriend dumped him in Harvard University. He was mad. He then decided to create a virus to hack into the library and collect photos of everyone in the school, he then used these pictures to create a website called Face match. Face match was a site for people in the university to use, there were pictures that would pop up and they would have had to click on their opinions favourite. This then spread too different University’s and a man asked Zuckerberg to take the website and put it on a new level and create a social networking site for people at the university’s to message each other, say what they are doing and asking to go on dates. This grew bigger and into a public site and after a few years it became international and it became very popular. One of the main issues of social networking is bullying.

(This last sentence is really disconnected from the rest. You should consider deleting it or expanding on it.)
