What happens if I block someone on Facebook?

I really want to know what would happen to pictures taken with that person you blocked. I've taken a few pictures with the person I used to be friends with, and they're tagged in the pictures. What happens to the pictures when I block them???

you cannot see any of there comments, cant even go to their profile, and vice-versa.

the pictures stay there but they get untagged in them.

If YOU posted the photos, the tag of your friend would no longer be around.
If your friend posted and tagged you, you wouldn't be able to see the pictures until you un-block the friend.
Your friends would probably not be able to see your tag too.
