Why did my facebook change to timeline without my permission?
I was on quizazz which is on facebook and i pressed my profile button and all of a sudden it was the timeline. Why did this happen?

because all new apps require the timeline - facebook isnt asking people anymore, they are forcing every to use timeline

Facebook wants everyone to have timeline now. They will change it without your permission at some point. Although with all this critism of it they might make timeline optional where you can choose weather you want it or not.

Facebook are forcing everyone to use timeline now, and they are tricking people into using it by converting them when they use specific facebook applications.
