Facebook groups and privacy?
Ok so is there like a way to make different groups on Fb that gives you the capability for statuses only being updated to that group or hidden from another? Like I'm not sure how to explain it to well lol. Oh! Okay if I made a status that I didn't want adults to see can I make it where I can just click a group that the adults are all in and block them? Aghhh! Sorry this is confusing!

Are you trying to ask how to block certain groups of people from seeing a status?

I think your only choices are:
A) deleting the status and blocking all the adults
OR
B) deleting the status and making it visible to only those you want to see

you can do both by doing this:
when you go to post a status, there is a lock by the "share" button. If you click that, it will bring up a small list that says-
everyone
friends only
friends of friends
customize

You want to go to the "customize" option. When you click it, it should pull up a FB window. From here, you type the name(s) of the person/people you do or don't want to see your status.

If you want to keep only specific people from seeing it, click in the space that looks like a search bar of "hide this from" and begin typing a name. When you find who you are looking for, just click the name and it hides it from them for that status only. everyone else is able to see it though.

if you want only a couple specific people to see it, click in the space that looks like a search bar of "make this visible to" and again, begin typing the name until you find it, then click it. only those in the list of "make this visible to" will be able to see it, along with you (duh). Nobody else on all of facebook will be able to see it.

when you do one (or both if you really feel the need to lol) of them, click "save setting" and share Big Grin

hope that helps Smile
