Is the new facebook timeline look gonna be enforced?

I heard it was going to change for everyone automatically last year. So far nothing has happened and i'm still on my old style. I don't get why some people were put on timeline.. so at this point is it optional or will it be mandatory later on?

I think it's going to be enforced eventually but not sure as mine is as well the normal layout. But some switch because they like the look, Ill adjust when it happens.

It is on roll-out right now, any minute your profile could change to it. A couple of my FB friends already had it given to them, and had no choice if they wanted it or not.

Although for the moment Facebook did not make a clear statement in any of its official pages about how the upgrade would be deployed, and as a consequence there is a lot of false information going around, experienced users know that Facebook upgrades of this size have never been optional.

Besides, there are clear evidences that indicate that there will be no way to go back to the old Profile. Take a look at the article in the source to see what those evidences are.

its going to be enforced soon. although you cant remove timeline once you have it on your account, you can still view all timeline pages in the older, faster loading and more user friendly, profile page format by following this simple guide:

there is no way to remove it - everyone is being converted to the timeline - it's the new look for facebook
