How to remove Facebook Timeline?

How do you remove the Facebook Timeline view from you're Facebook to change back into the original version?

Facebook is going through a number of changes these days, and one of them is Facebook Timeline. We have posted a Step by Step Tutorial to enable Facebook Timeline and some of our visitors asked us the method to disable it. We figured it out and made a tutorial. Check it out after the jump.
Facebook Timeline feature is not publicly launched now, and only developers can use it. The method of enabling we posted is by making a dummy app. If you want to disable Facebook Timeline just delete that app.
How to Disable Facebook Timeline Feature:
Follow the steps and your profile will be back in the old Facebook GUI.
Step 1:

Open this URL https://developers.facebook.com/apps and click on “Edit App“.

Step 2:

On the left sidebar, click on “Delete App“.

Step 3:

Now Click on “Confirm“.

Then Click on “Okay“.

Your Facebook Timeline App is deleted and your profile is now back in the old Facebook Interface.
Note: If you want to re-enable the Facebook Timeline then re-create the app by following this tutorial.

Yeah... the link/directions everyone is giving you are outdated. It seems there is no way now

Although for the moment Facebook did not make a clear statement about the deployment of the upgrade in any of its official pages, and as a consequence there is a lot of false information going around, experienced users know that Facebook upgrades of this size are never optional.

Besides, there are clear evidences that indicate that there will be no way to go back to the old Profile. Take a look at the article in the source to see what those evidences are.

you cant remove the timeline anymore - everyone will have to be using it by next week

You cant do so now we have to keep using it till facbook itself gives us and option to revert back to old version
