i thought this girl liked me...did i get a little too excited ?

So there's this really flirty German exchange student in 2 of my classes. Now this going to be super long cause i want you to hear the whole story. So after i did a group presentation in front of the class a week ago, during lunch she walked by me and some friends. when i looked up at her she instantly turned her face away. Then in the beginning of other class i have with her, she was standing with her friend waiting to talk to the teacher and i look up and catch her looking at me. there was no one around me so i smiled back. She then would turned to her friend and they'd both laugh and turn and look at me with smiles. This happened a second time the next day. after that i talked to her on facebook a bit seemed nice. Next day first thing in the morning she said hi to me first. i have a class with her called workzone. boom sit down beside me.(this time there are other people i knew at the table) while were in that class she gestured for me to come with her some where to hang out with her friend outside. we talked, when she explained things she would look at the ground. She then asked me if i wanted to hangout with her during lunch. so we did. then while were sitting on a bench, i asked her if she liked this guy who sat at our table during that class (some guy in grade 12 , were in grade 10) , and they both laughed out loud and she said no not as much as me. so after i hung out with her with i assumed she liked me and got a little excited.Wouldn't you think she liked me at this point.

That same day i asked her friend if she liked me, she said as a friend. even the girl when i talked to her messaged me saying "hey my dubstep friend ". so i excepted the fact maybe i got it all wrong.over the weekend i talked to her on facebook and while were, she wanted to send pictures of each other to each other. so she sent me a pic of herself( just her smiling), i ended up sending her a pic of my body, she said i had a good body . i then asked her if she wanted to do something during lunch on monday ? she said sure why not ? Monday comes along. I didn't have any classes with her that morning leading into lunch. I saw her walk by me with her friend(not sure if she noticed me with my friends) So i hesitantly got up walked around the corner heading in their direction pretending i was going somewhere. She then asked me where i was going. we ended up hanging out.wile we hung out on this bench with her friend she rested her head on my shoulder really briefly. then that same day she did that when we hung out, when i had that workzone class with her she asked me to come with her and her friend to another class and talk. Even there she rested her head on my shoulder, twice because she was tired. then we wrote & drew stuff on each other and she wrote stuff on my binder.had a good time. Through out all the times we hung out when ever i occasionally looked at her, she would turn then look at me face to face then ask "what ?" with a little laugh and smile then look away right away.
this morning i sent her message saying that i was going to ask her out during one o f the classes i had with her but i showed up late.( and she had gone to the gym with some other guy but he's like almost 3 years younger than her) she then answered saying that just that its clear were only friends. i was heart broken. what was this girls deal then leading me on ? I also find out a while ago that she wanted this grade 12 or this grade 11 i used to hangout with a lot last year.
