Would employers care if they see pictures of me and my friends, who are all 21+, casually drinking at a restaurant? I want to post the pictures I took but I don't want to take an unnecessary risk.
Other than the drinks in the picture, nothing looks irresponsible. No one is drunk, chugging a huge beer, playing drinking games, doing anything stupid looking

Depends on if your employers a dick or not. You should be completely fine, because you are of legal age.

Depends on where you are employed. If it's Wal-Mart or McDonald's, probably not. If it's a nice, respected law firm, that might not fly as well. Somewhere in between? Better to ask someone who knows. (Disclaimer: I've never worked for Wal-Mart or McDonald's so don't take my word as absolute truth there, it's just an assumption).
It also probably depends on the pictures. Are you simply drinking in the pictures, or are you so drunk off your ass you look like an idiot/are actively doing something stupid? Also, even if you are acting normal, are there other people in the picture behaving badly? Employers might see you hanging out with these people and assume you are like them.
Of course, you always have the option of making those pics private and hiding them from specific groups and people. Just keep in mind that if it's too embarrassing, the company may still be upset if they ever see something through a third party (like a friend who also works there, or who knows anyone who works there).

My guess would be that any employer, possibly not even your current employer, could use any photos of this type of activity to establish the fact that you, or a certain friend, do indeed drink alcoholic beverages. Remember...that photo is only a "snapshot in time", and what could have happened two hours after the photo was taken, may not necessarily have been posted for obvious reasons. I wouldn't give any employer a reason to "wonder" about something!
