How to get rid of Facebook timeline?

OK so I woke up this morning, loged on to facebook and my page had automatically changed to this new timeline cr@p. I never wanted this. I was perfectly happy with the old version but now it has changed on it's own. Is Facebook forcing me to accept the timeline or is there something I can do to get the old version back?

No sorry, it is the new layout for facebook and they have been rolling this out for months. You can have a look for some browser extensions that make it look as much like the old version as possible, but there is no going completely back.

click on your timeline and click on change photo and del. the photo.
you will get only your pic bt there is no way to get only old version back
it will be there with us when u press home

no you cant
i stil have the old facebook and im happy
but eventually all facebook accounts later on will become timelines
but facebook has been busy and postponed the date that that happenes
and its better like this
eventually you will get used to it
i remeber when they updated facebook to how it is now before the timeline
and everyone hated it
but now were used to it and were happy with it
the same thing with the timeline
