What to do if I'm in the closet and girls flirt with me?

I am 17 and I've personally known that I'm gay for a long time. My very close friends also know, and, of course, my ex-boyfriend knows. Recently, there have been two girls that I barely knew before who started flirting with me on facebook and in real life. I do not want to date them for obvious reasons. What should I tell them?

You certainly don't have to tell them that you're gay. That's a personal decision and you shouldn't be pressured into coming out of the closet, although I do hope that at some stage you will feel comfortable enough with your sexual orientation to do so - just not yet.
If you barely know them, why do you have to respond at all? No response will tell them what they need to know, if they have any sense at all. Another tactic is to simply tell them "no thatnks, not interested." and just leave it at that.

If your not ready to come out yet, and are not ready to date other girls i would just tell them that. If you don't feel comfortable doing that then i would suggest backing off from them as it may be putting both of you in awkward situation.
