A few weeks ago, I updated to facebook timeline. Everything was going fine until yesterday. I went to my timeline yesterday and noticed that everything from January 2012 and back was completely gone. The only posts and information available were from February 2012 to present. Today I went on my timeline and now everything February 27 and back disappeared too! I'm afraid that before long, every single one of my posts on my timeline will be gone! Please help? I changed my password and everything, but the posts are still gone.

Same exact problem here. I have posts going back to Feb 27, but everything prior is gone. My wife's is the same as well.

I even went to the Activity Log section where it definitely used to show my entire history going back to when I first joined Facebook. And the earliest posts it has there are from Feb 27.

I just submitted a bug report to Facebook. I'll be pretty irritated if everything doesn't come back.

--EDIT March 13, 2012: Looks like everything's back for me as of today.
--2nd EDIT March 13, 2012: Maybe not everything. 2011 is still missing. But before & after appear to be there.

I hd the same problem...suddenly my postings on my Timeline page were dissapearing.
The foloowing process stopped it from happening and allowed my postings to return.and remain .
1 Click "Account" in the upper right corner of any Facebook screen and select "Privacy Settings."
2 Click the "Customize Settings" at the bottom of the "Sharing on Facebook" section.
3 Locate the "Posts by me" line in the "Things I Share" section. Click the gray icon at the right end of the line and select "Friends Only" from the drop-down menu.
4 Go to the "Things Others Share" section and choose the "Friends Only" option for "Can see Wall posts by friends."
5 Click "Preview My Profile" to see what your new settings will look like. Click the "Facebook" logo in the upper left corner of the screen to return to your homepage. The new settings will be saved.
