Can you subscribe to Facebook SMS without your friends seeing your phone number?

I have a few Facebook friends I don't like and don't want them to see my phone number. Is it possible to activate SMS without having them see my number?

Yes, just add the number and change your Privacy Settings.

yes you can do it by hiding your phone number ,the option is when entering your phone number.........go to privacy settings..........

yes of course go to privacy settings in front of mobile phone there is an option customize click on it and then do it as only me now ur friends cant see ur no..
and then activate the phone
