If you hide your friends list from your friends, will your name show up on people's "people you may know" list?

yes, nothing stops you from showing up on other peoples' "people you may know" list

yes, there is no way of hiding from the "people you may know" list. your friends list is just your friends, has nothing to do with you on others.
