I ruined my friends surprise party!?
we were ate lunch and one of my friends (kate) ask if i was going to "the thing." "The thing" she was referring to was my friend (gloria)'s surprise party. i honestly didnt know what she was talking about until she kept looking at gloria. then me being the dumbass i was said "oh! the party?!" right in front of both of them and it just slipped out. i totally forgot it was a surprise. and now gloria knows about it. there was a group chat on facebook and it had all of the invites on it.. probably like 11 people. and the host of the party (andrea) told everyone that gloria found out. someone else messaged and said "who?" im just freaking out now because i know everyone will be mad when they found out i told. I've tried apologizing to andrea but she is ignoring my messages. what should i do tomorrow? im sooo scared!

All you can do is apologize and say you really didn't mean for it to slip. They won't be upset that long-everything will be okay. It was just an accident and you couldn't really help that.

Oh it was a mistake! They'll rib you about it and may even make you feel bad, but you didn't do it on purpose. All you can do is apologise for ruining the surprise and being a klutz - they'll get over it.

Whoops! We all make mistakes. Oh well, just tell your friend it was a mistake. Surprise parties are overrated anyway. Why not just throw a normal party for the person?
