How do I go about deleting several or more people off Facebook?

I want to clean out my friends list on Facebook.
I want to do it the quickest/simplest way possible.
The only way I have figured atm is to go on my profile and click on my friends list, then hover over each person I would like to deleted then click the button that says 'Friends', so as to unfriend them.

There isn't a way to do a bunch of people simultaneously, unfortunately. I looked around though and did find a way to do this without the page refreshing every time, so it might save you a few minutes. The link to the instructions is in the source box. Well, that is the easiest way to delete many friends.

While it's not better than the "x", I think I've figured out a way to make a BIT more simpler. After you've removed the friend, it gives you the option of pressing "ok" which refreshes the page. However, if you do not press it, then you can just continue on deleting "friends".
Note: You will not see the changes until you HAVE refreshed.

See if you can select more than one at a time 'ctrl+click', and then delete.
